Learn how to draw the American flag, blowing in the wind, with beautiful wavy stripes. Those curves take so much more dimension than a flat flag does!
American Flag Drawing
The Flag of the Usa features thirteen equal stripes of red switching with stripes of white. The blueish rectangle in the upper corner holds fifty white stars representing the 50 states which make up the United States of America. The stripes represent the 13 original colonies which gained independence from Britain. The flag of the United States has other names as well. It is also known as the Stars and Stripes, Star-Spangled Banner and virtually famously, the nickname Quondam Glory.
At present students that are learning about the American flag and want to acquire how to draw one blowing in the wind, have some tutorial help. The stripes do brand a very dynamic cartoon when they are curved, information technology just takes some extra time and care to get them right.
That being said, I would encourage young students to not get overly concerned that they have the exact right number of stripes and stars in their drawing. Peculiarly if they are cartoon a smaller one. Every bit long as their flag starts and ends with red stripes, and their block of white stars looks about as full as my sample, their American flag cartoon is bound to look really beautiful and everyone will know exactly what it is.

Materials for How to Draw the American Flag
- Eraser. Large ones you can concur in your hand do a much amend job than just the pencil tips.
- Black Sharpie Marker. These fine point permanent marker pens brand prissy black outlines, have a skilful tip for coloring, and never bleed when they get moisture. Utilize them with good ventilation and add extra paper underneath to protect your tables.
- Prang Crayons. These are a scrap softer than other crayons so they sometimes wait like oil pastels. They besides have a some nice brown shades that Crayola does not have unless you buy their larger boxes.
- Crayola Crayons. The reliable make that always works well. The 24 pack has some of my favorite golden orangish and yellow colors that seem a scrap richer and warmer than the ones Prang has.
