I've always had a fascination with other people's makeup bags. I don't know why, only nothing gives me more joy than delving through the makeup people make up one's mind to put on their confront everyday.
But it wasn't until I found out that Lady Gaga wore £642 worth of makeup on her face for that Superbowl performance, that I wondered merely how much my everyday face costs.
And so of course I roped in the rest of the Cosmopolitan team (and their makeup bags) to work out just how much our everyday makeup really costs.

Having said that, I'chiliad as terrified of looking like Shirley from EastEnders as I am of wasting money on makeup, then perchance I'll invest in a spenny palette that does everything at some point. "Well, this is embarrassing isn't it. Believe me when I say I'm genuinely embarrassed that my makeup bag contains more coin than my actual banking company business relationship right now (when is pay day?). As a disclaimer I would like to say that I do use upwards my makeup until the biting end, equally you lot can tell by that pitiful looking bronzer.
I've always been a petty scrap extra when it comes to my makeup (I used to salvage up my newspaper circular wages when I was 14 and purchase Versace lip glosses...I know). Luckily a huge perk of my job now is receiving makeup to review, which means I don't spend one-half as much as I used to on the stuff. Having said that, at that place are quite a few things in my makeup pocketbook that I take bought myself. Including the Hourglass palette, Jouer bronzer, Chanel eyeshadow, Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick, Anastasia Brow Pencil, Tatcha Skin Mist and the Fifty'Oreal foundation (which I bought in the Usa every bit yous can't become it in the UK). Basically I have a makeup problem ok and I can't quit the Tom Ford life so...sorry not sorry." Laura

"If I knew how to do my make up more than than two dissimilar ways (one with eyeliner, one without) so I'd probably spend a lot more than. But lucky/unlucky for me, I don't – no matter how many YouTube tutorials I lookout man.
The 3 things I always purchase are the No. 7 loose pulverization, the Max cistron mascara and the Maybelline foundation, all of which cost around the £10 mark. Apart from that, things similar blusher, eyeliner and eyeshadow are interchangeable.
